Informations on your travel insurance

You are responsible to contract your own personal travel insurance for the region and activities you will be doing. This insurance should cover medicals expenses, repatriation and emergency evacuation.

Waver of risks

I understand that there are risks inherent to participating in this trip and its activities. This includes minor injuries such as sprains, broken bones, hypothermia, burns, etc. Other dangers such as bear attacks, avalanche or cold water can lead to drowning, major injuries or even death. You are participating in this trip at your own risks. The crew of LifeSong will attempt minimize the risks as much as possible and you will be ask to follow multiple security mesures, for your and the rest of the group’s safety.
I authorize the LifeSong crew to give me any necessary medical first aids. I also accept to be transported by ambulance, helicopter, boat or snowmobile at my own expense in case of medical emergencies or if i need urgent care.

Price and cancellation policy

This price include:

  • Stay onboard the ship for the specified voyage duration
  • Professional skipper, chef and professional guide
  • Standard offshore lifejacket and lifeline
  • Shore landings and tours with the dinghy
  • Bedding and towels
  • Onboard food (breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner), hot beverages and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Wine for dinner
  • Full equipment of kayak and glacier walks (include drysuits for kayaking)
  • Fuel and all port dues

The price does not include:

  • Air fares to and from departure point.
  • Transportation between airport and boat
  • Insurance (personal medical, travel, cancellation, etc)
  • Beers and strong alcool
  • Food and beverages on the day of arrival until boarding
  • Ski, trekking or other outdoor activity gear.
  • Entry fees into parks, museums, etc

Payment conditions:

Reservation deposit: 40% 

Balance two months prior to departure: 60%

Cancellation policy

Cancellation by LifeSong Sailing:

If we have to cancel a cruise for technical reasons, you will be entitled to another trip with a 10% discount, or a full refund of the amounts paid.

Cancellation by you:

More than 12 months before the departure date : all amounts paid will be fully refunded within 90 days.

Less than 12 months before the departure date : your reservation deposit (40%) will be retained.

Less than two months before the departure date : all payments will be retained.

Note that LifeSong Expeditions cannot be responsible of a delay on arrival date if the captain consider dangerous for his boat or crew to reach the last port. Additional costs that may be associated with a delay will be your responsibility.

Cancellation for reasons beyond the responsibility of LifeSong Expeditions and the participant:

Strikes, flight cancellations, pandemics, earthquakes or other natural disasters directly or indirectly making the trip impossible. In these cases, we advise you to take out travel insurance that covers this type of cancellation. LifeSong will not be able to refund your cruise if the cause is beyond our control.
